I can imagine the AS Tadjourah manager in the press afterwards: "Sundowns aren't as good as they think they are".

Love this, absolutely love it. Has anyone else seen it? It might be hardcoded as a joke, or is it a random lucky occurence? You what mate?! Care to give us context Nick? Year, finances, sugar daddy? Is it on your Velez save?

Is it on your Velez save? It was 2026 so he was 34. Physicals are declining as you'd expect, but his mentals and technicals are still unreal. Cost them £2.4m, £115k per week, one year deal, no sugar daddy. Just a final swansong by the looks of things, just a weird place to have it. Scored 5 goals in 9 apps at an average of 7.78 so he's still got it!

Shame that he preferred to go to a low English side instead of returning to Santos (don't know if they're interested though haha).

Swear this kid has been in FM for about 10 years now. He's only 22. Proper baller on previous versions.

I remember players like Gio Dos Santos and Carlos Vela getting 200+ caps for Mexico on older versions of the game. Before neither of them fulfilled their potential.

Yeah, Tariq is one of those players us hipsters have been talking about for years He was about 15/16 when he first came to prominence in FM, he was capped at 16. Lots of talk of him coming to Europe but it never seemed to materialise. I know he almost went to Turkey a few times, but again, that never happened and I'm now not sure it will. Similar to Omar Abdulrahman, although a work permit stopped him moving to Man City in 2012 and it's just never came up again since. The problem with the likes of Omar and Humam is that they're likely getting paid very well in Egypt and The Emirates, that any smaller European team will be priced out of a move and any bigger team wont feel its worth it.

Its a good job he isn't a GK. Can you imagine him trying to pick the ball up? Technique could be a lot better. Decisions looks about right. Flair is very low for Hollywood's finest.

Haha who cares about defense in an All-Star Game right? Last season's NBA All-Star game was amazing on the defensive end, specially the end of the 3rd quarter and the special 4th quarter and for me it was the best All-Star game I've ever seen. James Harden playing incredible defense, even on Giannis, woof. A-Ma-Zing. (But yeah, normally defense isn't important on those kind of games).

I'd love to watch basketball but the time difference and the fact that it's almost impossible to actually find somewhere to watch it in decent quality makes it incredibly tough.

Great to see all those superstars actually go at it in the All-Star Game. Will be interesting to see if the effect of the introduction of the Elam-ending remains or fades away over the upcoming years. I'd love to watch basketball but the time difference and the fact that it's almost impossible to actually find somewhere to watch it in decent quality makes it incredibly tough. True, I guess the only proper option is NBA League Pass, but it will set you back over 200 dollars per year I believe so it's not really a subscription worth having for the casual fan that just wants to watch a game every now and then. It does allow to watch full games back whenever you want though, which is great unless you saw the final score somewhere already.

I'd love to watch basketball but the time difference and the fact that it's almost impossible to actually find somewhere to watch it in decent quality makes it incredibly tough. Since around 5 years now I pay the NBA League Pass full subscription. I really don't remember how much I pay (it's an annual fee charged in September I think, so I paid a long time ago), but somewhere in the 150-200 USD range, which makes it around 15 USD per month. It's expensive? Yeah, but I watch around 2-3 games each day during the season and ALL the playoffs games, so for me at least it's worth it. There are cheaper plans though, and it's full HD with the possibility of watching all season games on demand as well (which solve both your issues of quality and time to watch). If you want I could send you my credentials in order for you to try it, and watch the NBA All-Star game from February which was simply amazing, or watch the Finals from past seasons, which have also being amazing (2016 is by far my favourite, with the Cavs overcoming a 1-3 deficit over the Warriors). Dirk will surely reccomend the 2011 Final as well, which was pretty amazing with Nowitzki playing at a godly level.

Different sport, I know, but I've considered getting NHLTV quite a few times as I've been getting back into hockey over the last year or two, but the cost ($140ish) and the seemingly arbitrary rules on which games are and aren't available have really put me off.
Maybe next season though

I have League Pass because it's the only way I can watch the Knicks on a regular basis without going to a bar too often (I know, I know...I like the Knicks and Tottenham, so I'm just a glutton for punishment). It is expensive, but hey, it's something that gives me both pleasure and pain, which is only something I can usually get from spicy food.
