So here we have it, some announced new features for FM19 including:

VAR: It was only a matter of time, now have your matches ruined by VAR as well as the usual FM being FM

New UI: A new overhaul to the UI (Apparently, it all looks fairly similar to me)

New Training Modules: A much needed overhaul to the training system

New Tactical Modules: You can now go even deeper with tactics, creating systems for attacking, defending and transitioning stages. 

Fully Licenced Bundesliga: The Bundesliga is now fully licenced (and maybe the national team?) with full kits and badges, which is nice. Will we finally get our hands on Japan soon?

I was going to create a "first impressions" thread, but to be honest this seems like as reasonable a place as ever to discuss it. So, with that said, how are you finding it?

I'm enjoying the new tactical setup immensely. As a complete novice, the preset tactical styles are a godsend. I used to have ideas on how I wanted my team to play, but was never quite able to implement them quite right, these presets will help me understand more and the ability to create your own will allow the more tactically astute players a chance to get creative!

The game feels slick and smooth, runs nicely and doesn't feel bloated either. I also don't hate the new skin, which surprises me!

Someone remind me of the all the shit I have to delete/change before starting a new game please.

Haha! I make sure that I delete most of the stuff from the Inc folders, as well as some stuff from the dbc and edt folders.

Not sure about you personally, but I also go and delete the stuff from "data > game > movies" folder too, because that definitely makes it boot up quicker without all those pre-game movies and animations

Didn;t feel like this warranted its own thread, but have they removed the bit where it compares to your current players in that position from the scout reports?
