Holstein Kiel are a club from the northern port city of Germany in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, whose flag is blue, red and white ( like our three kits)
The city of Kiel has a population of just under 250,000 and is home to various things water related, ship building, Germany's Navy, international sailing competitions and ferries on to Sweden, Norway and Lithuania. Until 1864 Kiel used to be ruled by the Danish king even though it was still part of Germany.
The football club Holstein Kiel in recent times has been on the up with a 3rd place finish in Bundesliga 2 last season being the highest finish in modern German football. They did once win a national German championship in 1912.
The club play at Holstein-Stadion which has a capacity of 11,386 (2,634 Seated) given the cities size I feel this is very small, but given the limited success of the club maybe we dont have a massive fanbase. Our training facilities facilities are adequate and our youth setup is average. So there is work off and on the pitch to help this club get into the professional era of Bundesliga.
Honours list:
The board expects us to finish midtable in the league this season. In the German cup we are only expected to get to the 2nd round. These aims seem realistic. We have 9 million balance and 225k to spend to help us this season. But I will most likely exploit loans and frees this season!
The squad upon my arrivial already had a large number of loans in already but I also wanted to bring in some english youngsters just like the Bundesliga has been doing in real life.

Transfers May of went bit overboard getting some english loans in - most excited to see how Chong does - Also Bayern became our parent so got Fruchtl on a 2 year loan deal! We sent two youngsters out on loan from our u19s

Good luck Jawzy, shame to see you lose an important player so early in the save. I've struggled in my own with finding a really good LB, it's been my weakest position since the start of the save. I just managed to bring a couple of latinamerican youngsters (a Mexican and an Uruguayan) with some potential, so hopefully I manage to tie that knot for a long time. I see you loaned a ton of players, will you be able to play them all? You're squad was quite stacked before haha.

in the end - alot of the young english guys ended up playing in the 2 squad. with the "pretend" league games. No problem having quality depth and they all in on a pure free.

end of season We actually started off fairly strong and were in the top 4 for around the first 5 games, but after the winter break we had 10 games where we didnt win. A 8th place finish is a litrle it above the mid table expectation. Chong is a inside forward on either side was probably our standout player through the entire season. with 6 goals and 7 assists, though our top goalscorer was my right winger Kingsley Schindler, who is leaving on a free as he woundly renew contract. we over achieved by reaching the third round of the cup Shocked to see Koln and Hamburg fail to go up. In the new season we are expected to finish in the top half and reach the second round. both realistically achievable. Though this league this season looks strong With Hertha, Koln and Hamburg no dount looking to go up this season!

We currently have 15m balance with 3.7m to send. my biggest piriorty is to seek a goalscorer either to buy or on loan! As most of the goals were coming from midfield.

Intake day was uneventful I only signed one player, and he was sold in the summer but doesnt seem to appear on the out screen, even though he was subject of a 100K bid from Gladbach, dont worry there is a 50% future fee in there
Transfers out 1m for a target man that wasnt doing that great, I will happily let him go.
Thesker was an alright versitile defender for the left side after the cruel injury, but I dont see him getting much football, so the bid from Belefield came as a deadline suprise.
Transfers in
After the loans in went back last season it dawned on me just how few players we actually have, so its a real blend of expirenced players and few youngsters for the second squad or u19 side
Hopefully can retrain Jordan to be a striker as his attributes suit poacher or advanced forward rather than a MC or AMC.
wasnt expecting the draw and when it went 1-0 down in the 80th, I wasnt expecting it to end 2-2.

Atthe winter break, and all I gotta say, its pretty wide open, I was even in top 2 for a brief period! Not sure what Hertha are upto.

Hertha rescued there season, and we fell to bits again after winter break! to finish 10th only 9 points behind Hertha is actually rather frustrating, feel we could of easily been up with Hertha if we had bit more about us after winter break. Annoyingly Frankfurt are the big team coming down from bundesliga. The squad complete with january additions of Lopez and Erik and Duncan in on loan!

A summer of " i want to move to a bigger club" or " why did you reject that offer" and a whole lot of trransfer mess and unplanned ins and outs. The atmosphere and fluidness of the club has royally gone

After such a awful summer window where so many big players left and some makeshift players came in the form for the start of the season was terribe. we are mnow picking wins up with even a 3-0 win away to Frankfurt and a 2-1 win away to Hamburg happening! my biggest question is, will our side crumble after the winter break again!.

Slow start to the season possibly cost us the promotion push or title challenge! But a solid mid table finish, im happy with. The form after the winter break was more succesful this term with onky two losses, but ALOT of draws! After two seasons of having the young Fruchtl in goal, I dsdid end up picking up numerous keepers, but Peacock-Farrel ended up cementing the number 1 spot and in the end he became my favourite player at the club that isnt in on loan.

Was given 8m to psend thought i would have abit of a spend to see if we can push on abit and grab a playoffs or promotion spot this season
Alot of money generated through paid loans!
George Groves is tipped to be the next Ian Wright, he has alot of room for improvemnet currently Bissane came back after 1 year at Gladbach Prinz is a young german keeper, will battle peacock farrl for number 1 Vilalba is bargain of the century physically and mentally a great striker, low risk. Walcott, Aarons and Holland are all wingers coming from England - Walcott might be on a huge 20k a week, but I feel he has something to offer here, failing that, he could push a good fee next summer?

things are looking amazing as we about to head into the winter break,
hopefully we continue grabbing wins after the break and dont fall into the trap of draws draws and more draws though

went into lst day of season 3 pts ahead of Stuttgart, in end we win 1-0 and Regensburg leapfrog Stuttgurt and finish second, What a day, What a season
quite the season overal!
the 5k signing impressed me th most, best striker i have had in this save so far! Also having an aged Theo Walcott on the wing helped alot! hoping i can reloan or sign some of those loaned players now i am in the top flight! but initially only been given 3.4m to spend.

I have signed two of the loanees permently but my wage budget doesnt seem to of gone up, and ive got few decent players wanting new cotracts or need to renew contract. this is semi annoying considering we got 21m in bank.
the board want us to finish relegation playoff or higher too!.
this is going to be a very tough season!

Just 13 games before the winter break?! I play 9 in August!
Good work though mate. Looks like it's going to be tight, and picking up points against those around you will be key.

from the start of this season this lad has begged for new contracts, i actually managed to give him one before season started, and by december he is whining for another one. and with my wage budget seemingly not increasing I couldnt give in to his demands, so had to sell. his goals will be missed. but the way he acts wont be!

massive result
Uribe gets his first goal.
Wanderson and Uribe are on end of season deals. Fabhinio is a young brazilian striker.
Julio cesar is my third choice keeper, and Kyle is brought in just incase we cant get Pherai back on loan.
