Excellent work, mate! With a few more reinforcements, we can challenge for the very top spot, I reckon.

I apologize in advance, my update will be really short and without too much details that aren't crucial, unlike the first time where I went a little overboard.
I'll list out the games we played, the injuries, potential transfers and basically just the important stuff.
I sadly don't have enough time to do this properly, but I'll do my best to at least play well.

JanuaryNot January as the save started at the end of December, but I couldn't be arsed making a separate post about this so here, we got a new contract, yay. What a month fellas. Results have been a bit odd, we won a trophy of sorts, don't know if anyone cares about Supercopa, but hey, we'll take it, especially considering we beat Barcelona in the semis and Real in the final! Here's how we won it, one of the best games I had in this version of the game We conceded a couple of late equalizers in the league which is always annoying, but we're doing pretty well. Here's the league table It's gonna be a tough season, but I reckon I'll be able to get CL football. I did some business you'll be pleased with, I hope Basically got rid of some of the players that won't feature and have high wages and replaced them as I saw fit. Here are the replacements And this absolute monster we got for 21m, I let the board negotiate it as we didn't have the money Montero is joining us on a free at the end of the season which is brilliant, and we somehow got this beauty on a free as well That's it for January, if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them. Oh, and the board decided to buy the stadium so that's pretty shit for us Next update will probably cover 2 or 3 months, cheers!

Wow, some changes there Kova. Uzoho was pretty decent for the level of football we were having and I was confident we could groom Pablo Brea into our GK for the future, but Peña looks good as well. I also wonder what you did with Mollejo after signing Diatta, I think he's a great permanent addition to the squad in a position where we've relied heavily on loans, but the price I find a bit steep. Great job on securing Montero and Fabio Silva on a free, if any team jumps on Kaio Jorge's release clause, we're decently covered now. Finally, did the Strinic sale upset morale much? I was hesitant on selling him due to his status as a team leader.

I figured Pena is a better long term option, I might've made a mistake, but it's a risk I was willing to take.
Mollejo is wanted back by Atletico, they don't want another loan, but they'll probably change their mind in the summer.
No one actually cared that Strinic left, we got a bit of money and his 10k p/w wages of the books, so I'm pretty pleased with that.
I'm really excited with the Silva signing, can't wait to see how good he becomes.

It's surely a bold move as Uzoho did the job and you sold him super cheap, but it's your decision to make in the end and it's not that risky I think as Peña sure looks good enough for the job.

I felt like it might be an inspired decision, and he's been pretty decent so far haha
Btw, Brea will never be anything more than a bottom half GK in my opinion, he'll be the definition of a 6.5/10 goalie

FebruaryJesus Christ, we have so many games ahead of us this month, I actually think someone might die out of exhaustion. Look at this shit
I swear, the only thing we need this summer is squad depth and that will be enough to mount a title challenge, because there's literally no depth here. We got our Copa del Rey 5th round draw, and it's not too bad I guess
We drew with Barcelona for the 3rd time I believe, Kaio Jorge is a God, thank you for signing him. We won in the cup as well and got into semis, and the first game was an away draw which is brilliant, we played against Sociedad who are called Hispalis for some reason, I believe due to licensing. I do wonder sometimes why do we pay the full price for the game every year when there's so much stuff that stays the same? Oh well, we're still gonna keep on doing it. In the league, we're doing really well, getting wins basically everywhere, taking the points off the big boys, we're a right nuisance. Now, the one thing I noticed is that we're winning the Europa League. We're just too good for that small competition, and we'll use it as a means to secure our CL place next season. I have no doubts this will backfire massively and I'll look like a twat once we lose. We got Roma away, lost the first game 1-0 to give them a bit of hope, and then we did this at home Haha, get your hearts broken you jammy twats. The draw literally hates us as we get 2 of the probably strongest opponents one after another, and this time, we've drawn Arsenal. I know, they're not that good, but cmon, neither are we. We end the month quite nicely, and it sets us up for an exciting last 3 months of the season, in which I'll play another hundred games. Congrats to the boys, they've been wonderful, no one's moaning about anything, everyone's training well, they're beautiful. Here's how the month ended:

MarchMarch is a bit kinder to us in terms of how many fixtures we play, as there's only 5 games due to the international break which we don't really worry about as our best players are mostly ignored by their NTs. Praise the Lord. Here's the schedule I know what you're thinking, losses all around this month, as we have the Copa del Rey, Atletico away, 2 legs against Arsenal and Valencia away. I'll have you know we lost only one of those, and you'd never guess which one. First things first, we're in another final, it's becoming a tradition at this point Goodbye "Hispalis", that's what you get for not being licensed We're playing Real Madrid in the final who we already demoralized in the Supercopa or whatever it's called, and we're fully aware they're shitting it by this point. And now, the dreaded away game to Atletico Madrid. They're now managed by Ancelotti which makes it a bit nicer, imagine if Simeone was still there, I wouldn't even bother honestly. We've shithoused an away draw after being 3-1 down and hilariously bad all game long. That's what makes it sweet, if it were a regular draw I wouldn't even care. Fuck off Atletico, now you know how I've felt all these years playing you in Europe Guess what happened against Arsenal? You know, the side that's widely known as a European powerhouse, a side no one wants to face in knockout stages of European competitions etc. Of course we won, they're the same old Arsenal, absolutely useless when it matters, and it's impressive how shit they are with a great side. We're winning this thing lads, I never doubted it. As for Arsenal, just give up lads, you're never winning anything again, find some other hobbies. Oh no, we've drawn Lille, how will we cope with a mediocre French side? I am truly afraid and not at all sarcastic, Europa League really has some illustrious opponents. You might've noticed I didn't mention Valencia. We lost 1-0. Don't talk about that, please. I honestly don't know what this means, my vocabulary is usually immaculate(see? hehe), but I really don't know if this is a good or a bad thing? Does it mean he wants to re-visit their bid or something? Please translate this for me. EDIT: I realized it's 2020 and I can just Google stuff. All is well, I learned a new word. Our beautiful Jude is really growing up in an amazing man and a player. He's a model citizen, and this happened for him I'd die for you Jude. We've also had quite a youth intake, and 2 little bastards might actually make it I'd say I'm doing well, much better than I expected because I usually do better when my side is shit and there's no expectations. This is how the month went in case you can't be arsed reading all this I'm planning on finishing this tomorrow if that's ok, I hope you can forgive me, I've barely found time to do this, and by the time my turn comes again I'll be free to play it normally. Thanks for reading if you've read this, and I'll continue to do you proud or something.

Terrific month there Kova! What are you using tactically mate? Keep it up! Have to be honest, I'm using the tactics I inherited with the save with a bit of tweaks, but they're pretty much what I always use when my side stops being shit, a lot of passing, a lot of pressing, you know, the classic.

Is my writing style entertaining enough to not skip the post and only look at the pictures for 10 seconds? Honest opinions only I've said it before mate, I really enjoy your writing style. I've thought of blogging quite a few times in the past 10 years or so. About FM and about other topics (real football tactics, my travels, food, etc.) but in the end I've found that I lack the stamina to do it. It would end up feeling like a chore and if that happens I won't commit to it, and to do a blog, you need to be committed to it. Just some food for thought mate. Great job on beating Arsenal on the UEL, seems like we're primed for the Final at least, hopefully we can qualify for the UCL next season either by winning the UEL or by securing a top 4 finish at La Liga. Congrats on the Supercup win and the Cup Final, you're acing this mate.

AprilAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhem, we won the cup, no biggie. Kaio Jorge, have my babies. Or I'll have yours, whatever you prefer. Do you know why Real lose against me? Because Casemiro is wearing the number 7 shirt. I hope they get relegated because of that, it's a borderline criminal offense. It was honestly a magnificent performance, everyone played their part perfectly, we're the new champions!!!! Of sorts. Cup still counts, fight me. We played Real again, 3 days after in a match that's crucial in our race for 4th because they're somehow barely 4th despite spending about a billion on their squad. It's an away game, so we need to be realistic and realize we're getting dicked here, and an early goal and a red card certainly didn't help. However, you can't forget the fact that we're basically Gods and nothing can stand in our way. Our beautiful boy Jude got a penalty which we converted, and Diego has a habit of turning into prime Messi every once in a while, and he'd done that again with a brilliant run and a perfect finish. For some reason, we play much better with 10 men, and Kaio Jorge gets a third, while every Real Madrid "fan" is suddenly unfollowing them on social media. You've always been a Deportivo fan, haven't you @yankeeblanco? Anyway, another huge "fuck you" to their faces, and we're loving it. In other news, we're through to Europa semis. Not like we care about that tinpot competition, right? Lads, I'm sorry to say this, but I'm kinda making the league my secondary objective now. Our squad is too thin to risk not trying to win Europa with only 3 games left, and there's no way we do that if we don't heavily rotate in the league. We still might be able to grab 4th, but I honestly believe Europa is our biggest chance. I know some of you might disagree, but I'm all for taking risks! If we manage to grab top 4, that's obviously great, but there's no chance I'm purposely missing a chance to win a European trophy, especially considering we got Chelsea in the finals if we get through. I really fancy us against English sides for some reason. Anyway, Napoli next, a home game in which we can potentially secure the final because we've been bossing it at home this season. I have a slight feeling that away goal is going to cost us, and I really hope we pull out a goal out of somewhere because there's no doubt it'll be an awful away day. However, look at this lads, when I started we were debating if we were going up or not, and now we're one game from a European final. Crazy, isn't it? This is the result of everything we've done so far, and I hope you're proud of the boys. This is how the month ended, and the league table is looking promising Oh, Barcelona won the league, what a surprise. You know what they haven't won? That's right, Copa del Rey.

MayMay is upon us, and it's either going to be the best month of the season, or I'll uninstall the game and never post on here again. May the best team win. Get it? The schedule is quite tough seeing we need 4 wins to secure the CL qualification, as I'm counting Real won't drop any points. A draw at Sporting is to be expected as I basically threw the game to rest players ahead of the return fixture at Napoli. And boy, did it pay off. They couldn't get near the goal, we didn't risk anything as we were in a brilliant position, and only a beauty from Lozano from around 30 metres found its way in, but we scored an injury time equalizer which means WE'RE IN THE FINALS BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYChelsea await, and let me tell you something, they're absolutely shitting it lads. Next step in the Coruna revolution is securing some CL football, and let me tell you, we're going all in on it. We have 4 games in 2 weeks, but 11 days of rest after that prior to the final, so let's just pray no one gets injured and we manage to get it over the line. First game was easy, a home win against Leganes, a 2-1 win which should've been much more comfortable, but who cares at this point. Next up is Sevilla away, and a point here means we're equal on points with Sociedad with a game in hand. That won't be an easy task at all seeing as they're third pretty much all season. We concede first, and I'm thinking to myself: "Why do bad things happen to good people?". I yell at the boys a bit and tell them to play some fucking football, and apparently that's all it takes for them to remember they're actually good at football. Axetxe equalizes from a penalty, we're all over them, things are looking like they might work out in our favour. The ref blows, we get a massive point and we arguably should've won this, but I won't complain one bit about the result. The twats at FA made sure to shaft us as much as they can and we're actually playing 3 games in 5 days, and that's some grade A bullshit, let me tell you. 4 points from 2 games is what we need, and on top of that no one can get injured for longer than a week, otherwise I'll have a mental breakdown. The game against Sociedad was the biggest risk I made so far as I rotated half the squad, thinking I'll be able to get a draw and then an easy win with a fresh squad against the 7th placed Getafe who are fighting for their lives, but we have no mercy. My boys had a different idea. All that's standing between us and the CL is an awful team, which naturally means we're getting a red and an early goal conceded. Our boy Kaio won an award that I've never heard of until now but considering who the previous winners were, I guess it's a good sign Fair play to the lad, there's no chance someone doesn't come in for him and Jude. Do you hear that fellas? Out in the distance? What the hell is that sound? It sounds familiar... No, it can't be, surely? YUP, IT'S THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ANTHEM BABY, AND YOU BETTER GET USED TO IT.A routine win at home to gift our brilliant fans a 3rd place finish and a Champions League place, they really deserved it after all the pain they've been through for almost 2 decades now. Look at this fellas, isn't it beautiful? Also, we have little to no money, so have fun with that. And now, for the most important part of the save so far, THE EUROPA LEAGUE FINAL.
We've made history just by making it this far, but no one wants a participation medal. We're here to win it and send the message to everyone that we're back. The injury gods have smiled upon us as we have no one unavailable, and some of Chelsea's most important players are out It's a sign, surely? These are the boys that have the privilege of making the history for the club and for themselves, and I'm certain they will give it their all on the pitch no matter the result Let's do this. Unfortunately, I forgot the obscene amount of money PL clubs have, and to my surprise, Chelsea have about 15 world class players in their team, and the other ones are wonderkids. We go 2:0 down in 20 minutes, but pull one back in 34th minute, and honestly, things are not looking well for us. This is a team that is miles ahead of us in every single aspect. We're gonna need a small miracle in the 2nd half. I switch Diatta to the left wing in hopes he'll do something, and Larrazabal comes into his place because he's been clutch this season. Jorge missed an absolute sitter in the 69th minute, to the surprise of no one as that's how this game works. A swift break in 89th minutes ends in a crossbar, and the subsequent corners lead to nothing. We lost 2:1 against a much superior team, but there's no way we went down without a fight. Hats off to the boys, we were brilliant throughout the season, and there will come a point where we'll dispatch of teams like Chelsea like it's nothing. Looking back at the season, the success we had has been absolutely incredible We should get a massive boost in reputation because of this. The board bought the stadium for 30 million pounds, which is honestly not terrible all things considered. There's also work being done on our facilities, and they approved the stadium expansion as well This is basically the CL money we'll get, I think the benefits will outweigh the cost pretty quickly. I'm not playing through June as there's no fixtures and I want to give you the chance to assess the squad and the staff so you can have the best possible start to the season. For my final part, I'll show you how good Jude and Kaio have become, and I honestly think we should do whatever is possible to keep at least one of them at the club, preferably Jude. Just look at him, this is wonderful Of course, Kaio has been top class as well If we do end up having to sell, at least we'll get a massive amount of money for them, so there's that. I did my best boys, once again I suggest you definitely improve the squad depth if possible, as there's little to no quality outside the first XI. Good luck, and farewell!

Great work Kova you absolutely nailed it. Diatta was key at times and proved to be a terrific addition as well as Peña, hats off to you mate. Incredible on how Bellingham tripled in value during the season, I left him at 15.75M back in December and now is valued at 45M.

Incredible on how Bellingham tripled in value during the season, I left him at 15.75M back in December and now is valued at 45M. Peña genuinely won us at least 4 or 5 games by himself this season, and Diatta started off poorly to be honest, I was afraid I bottled it. But then, he started playing... My God, the things he's done to opposition defenders... All in all, Mollejo is gone unless they let him come back in the middle of the summer like it usually happens, rest of the first XI is great apart from the English lad that we got on a free, he's on huge wages and I'd ship him off and get someone else in. Also, our RB is off to Sevilla on a free, he was pissed off at the club when I took over and there was no convincing him to stay sadly.
