Haha, now there's a question I really don't want to answer! It depends, I can play FM for as little as an hour or so, or not at all if there's other games I want to play. However, on a day like today, where I'm off work and there's nothing that needs done, I could sit here and play this all day, quite happily. Likely 10 hours+

For me it's on all day most day. When I get a chance I will sit down for 15 minutes and play for a bit.
Working from home means I get to play for a little longer

I'm not at work at the moment so that skews the answer a little. Yesterday I played for about 12 hours. Today will probably be slightly less.
On a normal day when I'm at work, it's only a couple of hours, if that. I play other games, but FM has taken over at the moment due to the Velez save.

I forget the game is running, go off and do a gazzilion other things.
but I guess when im in the mood and got a semi addiction to a save, 4 to 6hrs? but could easily do a 12hr session.

Well, it's currently just about to hit 2pm and I've been playing since 7:30...guess I should take a break soon.

I could never play that long on one sitting. An hour at most and that's if I got a couple of things to do on the net at the same time

I could never play that long on one sitting. An hour at most and that's if I got a couple of things to do on the net at the same time I'd taken breaks for breakfast and lunch, prepped dinner in the slow cooker and was watching a show online too, but yeah turned it off at about 2:30. I'll take a break for now, play some other games and maybe go for a walk. Had planned on maybe streaming on Twitch later, but I've only got 4 games left to finish the season, so I'll get that done at some point.

Streaming FM on Twitch Dale? I never thought I'd see the day. I watch Twitch like it's a TV show at the moment. Not FM streamers, I still can't get into that at all, but streaming itself is great.

Haha no, absolutely not FM. I can't for the life of me every imagine watching an FM stream, let alone doing one myself. I'm both too shit and play too quickly for that sort of stuff. I streamed for the first time yesterday, streaming Rocksmith 2014 (Imagine guitar hero but with real songs and a real guitar). Despite streaming to myself for the best part of two hours, I did manage to get a follower and the occasional viewer (if you're playing the game anyway, no harm streaming it and seeing what happens). Twitch has largely replaced TV for me, to the point where I no longer have a TV provider. I have Amazon and Disney+ for the rare spell I want to watch an actual show, but I mostly have Twitch on these days, if I'm not listening to music.

More than I'd like to admit, though it depends on what else is going on. Often I'll fiddle around during long meetings, or when I wake up in the morning. It's always up on my personal laptop if I'm not playing a different game (which I haven't done much of since I got this FM, but I had been playing a lot of Darkest Dungeon, EU4, and CK2 otherwise). At the moment, things aren't stale, but when they get that way I'll probably switch up games and play FM a bit less.

I was going to say I was sure we thought along the same lines when it came to streaming FM, but didn't want to sound rude if you'd had a change of heart and was streaming yourself! What do you watch? I watch a lot of Fortnite but also watch JLAspey stream Motorsport Manager which is really good. I bought that a couple of weeks ago and it's a decent game. I'm not particularly good at it, but I'm learning! Also watch a bit of the new COD.

It really depends what I'm in the mood for. I watch quite a lot of Rocksmith, but also a decent amount of shooters and survival games, despite not really playing either. I watch streamers more than particular games too, so like if Viss, Chocotaco or Halifax, who usually play PUBG or Apex, are playing something other than that, I'll still watch.

It depends. With a small kid and a wife in the house it can vary from 2 hours to 15 minutes a session. It's why I mostly play Fm and Crusader Kings nowadays.

Regarding the OP's question, it's so unnecesary to answer, but I'll do it. I game a lot, a whole lot. FM usually means a couple hours a day maybe, if I'm hooked on a save a bit more. I normally play FM while watching something on Netflix or Prime Video (We sudacas still don't have Disney +), I'm currently watching The Crown, How to Get Away With Murder and Money Heist, but when the game's a bit too attention driven (transfer windows), I watch something ligter like The Good Place or Saint Seiya. I do play a lot of other games as well. As of right now super hooked on NBA 2K20 (I bought on the PC super cheap and I'm enjoying the MyTeam content), MGS: The Phantom Pain, Motorsport Manager, Factorio, Command and Conquer Remastered and Firewatch. Now, onto dalenichol's confession that he's a twitch streamer? How come you haven't told us where to watch you? I tried twitch.tv/dalenichol to no avail. Come on! I've got a close friend who streams and I've dabbled as a companion with an uncle who streams, playing Diablo III alongside him and my brother while on his stream but we had to stop as he fucked up his computer. I've given thought on streaming myself, but I just can't seem to find the courage to do it. I've thought that Cities: Skylines, Crusader Kings, Motorsport Manager, Factorio and Sim Airport are games I think I could pull off.

Haha, like I said my friend, I streamed for the first time yesterday. I'm using a really low budget rig, one monitor, a secondary netbook laptop to monitor chat (I got one message!) and I'm using my phone as both the camera and the microphone. It somehow works I have only streamed Rocksmith and, if I keep streaming, it'll be primarily that. However, you can find me over at twitch.tv/dnbassist if and when I keep this up. As for yourself, if you want to do it, I say do it. If there's a game you like, and you feel you could sit and play that game for a couple of hours at a time, then why not? What my colleague Grant said to me, when I talked about the idea of streaming and the fear of starting up was what I said earlier. "You're going to be playing the game anyway, so why not just stream it? If nobody talks, you're not missing out, because you're still playing the game you wanted to play. And if people do come and watch, and chat, then you're streaming...doing the thing you wanted to do anyway".

If you want I can hook you up with my streamer friend if you want tips and equipment advice, gimmie a DM if you're interested. Regarding your advice, well yeah. Thing is I always have people around me in my house and to be talking to the computer seems like a weird thing to do haha, but yeah I always end up giving it more and more serious thought. Maybe later on the year as I expect to go live all alone.

That did always put me off before, when I was married and there was somebody else in the house, because the PC is in the living room, so I guess that did put me off for a while. But shit man, if you have a room to yourself, just give it a shot. Get the door closed, tell people you're busy and give it a shot. But if you're planning on moving out, then that would be a perfect time too!
