he played 23 times in the league but only scored 5, Chalov has managed to get 15 twice and 10 one season As for youngsters, my best is nothing to write about, but there a few else where I initially like look of
As we head into the break slightly earlier this season, guessing thats the world cup in winter having an effect here. We are returning in late January rather than March! gonna be alot more brrrr games! I feel semi disheartened to be in the relegation playoffs, though board expectation is to finish in the playoffs Rostov and Lokomotiv having rather shocking seasons!
Overal im disapointed to find ourselves deep in a relegation battle this season. This season was very close at the bottom though. We were 15th on last day of season, but a great win over already relegated Orenburg saw us finish 13th and having to play Chertono Moscow from FNL in playoffs.
Tula first season back up and into europe!?
the FNL teams were no match for either tie.
we really struggled for goals. But also we did conceede ALOT of late goals this season.
Cup Our cup run was the best yet. Infact I was saddened by a late goal in the semi final We lost in the semi final!
Our best average rating came from a 36 year old Cesc, who is retiring at the end of this season! impressive for him, utterly terrible for our team! Strikers struggling for goals, and our winger Brown being leading goalscorer, and central midfielders bing a close second with 4?
transfers from the previous summer and winter (as think i forgot to talk about summer movements) in
Tataev is a 24 year old Russian defender, played alright this season. Maslov is a 23 year old Russian right back, a position we were lacking quality in! Kait is a 23 year old Estonian midfielder Negura is a 20 year old Moldovian midfielder, who probably isnt quite ready, hasnt impressed me initially but has done wonders out on loan. Madden is a 33 year old Irish Striker, and why did I even think this was a good idea? Meite returned on a loan deal athough doesnt feature much, he is a pacy centre back. Woodrow is a 28 year old English striker. although he didnt score or seemingly have much end game, he was useful. Fabregas is a 36 year old Spainish mid who could ping great balls about when he wasnt injured or unfit. Smith is a 20 year old scottish mid who my scouts, were impressed with, a low risk move. Suso is another returning loanee, is our fastest striker option. Lystov is a 27 year old Russian defender Grachev is a 18 year old Russian mid one of my hotter prospects. Sidnei is a 19 yer old Brazilian winger was out of contract and Brown had suffered an injury, so it made sense to bring him in. Kapanadze is a 19 year old Georgian striker/winger.
eagle eyed people will notice Wang Jingbin moved away, the Ciniese clubs stopped chucking money at loan deals for him, so decided to offer out on the cheap. Shapkin was a youth product, he had decent current stats, but his personality was tempermental, so I happily let him move on. We did have a few paid loan deals but not as many or as expensive as recent times
its a nice enough budget to go hunting for the gem we need to help us move away from relegation battles, no doubt I will discover a flop and get relegated!
That's a frustrating season Jawzy. It seems like you just need to get over a little bump to turn some of these draws into wins and some of the losses into wins, and you'll suddenly be pushing for Europe. Do you think your problems lie in a lack of quality players compared to the rest of the league, or more tactically?
Well some of the bigger teams suffer inconsistancy, while having quality players. But I think its a level of quality within the squad as a whole. for the most part apart from conceeding late goals. we are in a solid defensive position, but going forward and creativity is something that is lacking within domesticated russians. There dont seem to be many attacking Russian or Belarussian options available at the moment, that are of a quality to help that push, And the foriegn players seem very hit or miss.
Also I forgot to mention the coldest temperture we have played in is now -7 celcius
Shame about that tough season jawzy but good job on surviving. That's a pretty horrible offensive output from your squad, I think the only way from here to go is up. Keep spirits high and you'll improve mate.
Out, Woodrow and Cummings, just were not gonna cut it here, Ivanov I sold on last day of window to Krasnodar who have been tracking and bidding since he was 16.
ins: Volkov 18 year old Ukranian mid - gone out on loan to Anji Amanzhol 18 year old Kazak defender, out on loan to Fakel Morales 20 year old Uraguayan MC Sterry 27 year old right back, english, is a faster/pacier option to replace outgoing Maslov who was slower/ Gomez a 21 year old Uraguayan striker, valued at 2m upon arrival. Aspas 36, amc, coming in as a expirenced player, hopefully simular impact as Fabregas Ploi 33 year old Italian, I feel he still has something to give Jovetic 36 year old Montenegro striker - hopefully he can have an impact from bench Rudenko - was a winger who was on loan to us, in the first season.
anyone else is a youngster, that is around to sit on the bench or join up with 2nd squad
