Decided Serbia/Partizan to be a good lace for the beta stage of the game big fish small pond - should be able to challenge for domestic silverware, got pulling power and its a nation that produces decent players and i have never managed in. Was niot expecting to smash Brondby like this after the tight first leg

Got sacked as Partizan boss before end of season due to poor eurpean and poor cup and in the championship group I failed to beat red star, which basically handed them the league Played a season as Schalke and finished 5th iirc. Now gonna ride the beta out in a league I been meaning to have a few seasons on in previous FMs, i know Dale had a brief spell here. But China here I come. I have chosen Hebei - reason being biggest team to not win any major honours. rules time to focus on bringing through decent chiniese youngsters.
by end of third season we projected to have nearly 400m balance
In previous FMs chiniese clubs projection always went mass red.
But one thing i notice at this side atleast is this:
mass sponsor deals!

I was posting about Almere, but they got a link with Ajax that cannot be cancelled, and the terms of the deal mean they cannot be promoted, so its bit like being another Jong Ajax!

I was gonna post in a thread about my Gateshead journey, but I will do tid bits in here instead will be doing season reports, mainly images. Boards aim was avoid the drop we finished 19th our cup performances were pleasing for the board, and I was happy too transfers in My better perfoming players are oddly former newcastle youth players! Adu-Peprah and Bartlett Garrido was pretty solid to Bartlett was our top goalscorer with 14 goals in the league Our board for next season would like playoffs!, quite a big jump During preseason I will be setting up friendlies with Scottish and sides from the north east, hopefully in mini cup or league form Hoping to get Newcastle, Middlesborough and affiliated Sunderland to agree to come to our big ground, to help sustain our balance!

end of third season up as champions
this striker from Burnley aged 19 is one of the reasons we have done so well.
disapoinnting fa cup run but we gave something for the fans to cheer about by grabbing the fa trophy for a non league double

shockingly feel hard done by after first 30 games we were in top 3! so to finish 9th hurts even though at start of season I would of loved a 9th place!

In my gateshead save we are in 2025
Ronaldo retired in 22/23 - and is a manager, but yet to be employed! aged 39 Messi still playing aged 37, has staff attributes, aligned to be either assman or coach.

And in my 7th season, in charge im in the championship, after 10 games im 18th, but financially we not gonna be competing at all. which I knew would be the case, I was hoping to also be able to get closer to 12k capacity in our debut season, but we struggling to get 6k fans including away through the door.
This is first time in this save the I wanna try something different has hit me.
I say different, bet I end up in England still once I decide on something.

Wont create a thread, as it probably wont last long. but im dabbling with the idea of one of Portugals foreground sugar daddy sides either Famlicao in top flight or Lusitânia fc in 3rd tier, siding more with the lower side, as I can build it hopefully towards whatever i create it to be
or another portuguese side, open to suggestions.

I don't know how well it is represented in the game but Lusitania de Lourousa has a huge following for the level of football they play at. When they were in the 4th tier, which here in Portugal is mostly amateur and regional leagues, with most teams having attendances in the hundreds, in the games against their rivals they had 8 to 10 thousand people in the stadium.

Stadium in game holds 8000, and iirc the average attendence is around 1500-2000.
Also noticed the owner is 35 yrs old and portuguese. where does the portrayed wealth come from etc

I have noticed Queens Park seem to sell off Hampden Park move into Lesser Hampden get approx 5m then a year later in 2021 turn pro - I assume si worked this in to reflect real lifes vote to change from a am side to a pro side.
Might have to holiday to end of season two, to see how QP being pro effects things.

My mood for FM and football has nosedived. due to natural fm burnout recently and also the outside influences that initially effected the chiniese super league.
Anyhow I have decided that almost managing in europe is not the option i wish to take as its too close to "home" thus cant fully disconnect, but might manage in Russia.
The list of clubs I have narrowed my choices down to are
Spartak Moscow - seems like the russian club are on the start of a downward spiral Cruzeiro - Using the update and 2020 start date, they will be in Serie B - so a revival task in Brazil Penerol - finished 3rd!?! in season before. thought there were only two clubs in Uraguay River Plate - Mainly cause I remember the days of watching Aimer and Saviola
Bali United - newish team in Indonesia
Kiaser Chiefs - Have struggled in SA of late.
Open to other club suggestions

Briefly tried Penerol, was not feeling it. Bali United was not a good fit either.

Shit, shame on that jawzy mate. River is quite a dominant side right now so not much of a long term challenge there, unless you want to make it a kids save, not buying players at all. From the rest, well Cruzeiro is a decent shout, but it'll be easy to bring them back to glory, with the big bucks coming easily in Brazil. Spartak Moscow seems like a fun game, but if you fancy Ukraine, trying to fight against Shakhtar is a fun save always, with Dynamo Kyiv or even a smaller side.

You could have a look at Santa Cruz in the Brazilian Serie C. It should take a while to take them to being one of the best teams in Brazil, but they play in a massive 60k seater.

You can always go for FC Luch Vladivostok and hope to have an European away day against Santa Clara one day.
