Hey dalenichol , for me this WL has been absofuckinglutely unplayable. I've played 8 games so far, ALL the teams are super teams. All of them with POTM Bruno, Mbappé, Neymar, 88 Robben, Klaiber (or Tavernier), 86 Theo Hernandez, and such. All colorful OP cards in one team, which makes the mode unplayable. When this players had the likes of good meta teams like Rodrigo, Kante, Son, Salah, Richarlison, etc I could handle them. Now, 0-8 and I think I've finished only 2 of those games, I scored 1-2 goals in total and concededed maybe 3-4 per game. I'll give it a go tonight and tomorrow to see if it improves, but if not I don't think I'll play further than 4-5 games more. Yeah, I feel you. One thing I will say is try to finish every game. I don't know if it's true anymore (or ever was) but apparently quitting games doesn't change your ELO, so you'll keep getting the same level of opponents if you quit, but if you lose you'll come up against players with a similar record. Again, not sure if there's any truth to it, but it was something I was told on discord a few versions ago when I mentioned I quit any game I felt like I was gonna lose, to speed up time. On the main point though, yeah, I'm in absolutely the same position and feeling. I've had a better weekend than last weekend, I'm currently 10-10 and will play my last 10 tomorrow, but I've been lucky in quite a few of those wins and absolutely hammered in most of the losses. I think the time for casual players like me and you is probably gone now we're almost in March. I keep telling myself I'll stop because it's such a frustrating way to spend the weekend, but I keep managing to claw my way back to Silver 1 and automatic qualification so I figure why not, because I'm a fucking sucker  |

I found this on the EA forumns from one of their community managers: "Hi @js_17TH, You're being matched on form, it's possible that you matchmade with a higher tier player who was just starting to play their FUT Champions games. Everyone starts each weekend fresh at zero form, moving up or down with each win or loss. In football terms, match form of W/L/W/W/W would result in a +3 form. Players with similar form are then paired in matchmaking." It doesn't say whether or not quitting games impacts things, but it does suggest that there's something to be said for me having a better record on friday mornings and sunday evenings than the rest of the weekend, though |

chaodck after being 10-10, I started playing today and lost 6 in a row (not taking my own advice and quitting games ) finally got a win with my 27th game taking me to Silver 1. Stopping there, fuck that shit!

Stopping there, fuck that shit! Tough luck mate, at least you got to Silver 1 which is decent. After my 0-8 start, I won the 2 I played last night, including a 4-2 overtime win against one of the teams that demolished me on Friday (which was pretty amazing, gotta say). I got 20 games to go, winning 9 seems decent enough to get to Silver 1, but I might push it to try and get Gold 3 if possible. Who did you get from the 10 wins special objective player pick from this weekend? EDIT: Won 4 out of 6 in this morning's session, I'm now at 6/16. This makes me think why I bother playing on days other than Sundays. EDIT x2: Ended up on Silver 1 as well mate. Feel that I could've gone to Gold 3, but lost a few incredible games. Pulled shit on the 10 wins player pick. This week I'll have enough red players to do a 86+ re-roll (unless I get one that enters the team directly). |

Glad you got to Silver 1 in the end buddy! I do think that S1 is probably about my level now. I did do better than last weekend when I first started taking my new meds but it still wasn't great. I think, if I keep playing, I'll aim for S1 and just be happy with it.
My 10 win player was bad, got 81 rated Blas, the French right mid. I'm hoping for better from my actual pick, but I'm not going to hold my breath!

Anyone else trying out Valheim? Sorry I've not been around these parts recently life keeps getting in the way. However, yes, I've played quite a bit of Valheim and despite it being a poorly optimised, resource hogging bastard of a game, it is fucking fantastic. I'm playing with a group of 4 (myself included) although we're never all on at the same time. We've only done the first boss, but the random generation of the map has meant that the second boss is absolutely ages away, and we have to go around both mountain biome that we can't be in, and a swamp biome that's really tough. So last night we finally got a portal set up near(ish) the spawn point of The Elder, so we might finally try and take him on soon. We've almost definitely got the gear to actually do it, we've just never been able to get all the way across to him until now So, so good though |

Have you played WL again? I skipped one a few weeks ago, then on the last two weekends I've returned to my usual level, making it to Gold 3 both times (14/30 and 14/28 this weekend, my personal best). I've been super lucky with pulls, as I re-rolled the 86+ red players SBC, putting on it all my bad picks and pulled 91 Casemiro (which isn't that great, but I was using 89 Casemiro so it's surely an upgrade for me), then in the 10-win red player objective set for this weekend I pulled 90 Kane (I had 88 Vardy as my backup forward, I think Vardy might be better, but I'm rolling with Kane to try him), so that's the top 2 informs from the current week for me. I also did a party bag SBC and pulled What If 87 Roberto Pereyra, who is an upgrade over 86 FUT Champs Hakimi, so I'm happy. What about you? Have you played this past weekends? |

Hey buddy, I'm doing alright thanks! The walk was great..sore and tiring, but great! I've not played FIFA in a while now, I think I'm done with it. I even wasted all my coins on packs, basically to discourage myself. I basically got to the point where I couldn't afford to improve my team, but couldn't keep up with the teams that I was playing in Weekend League. So whilst I do have a redemption left if I want to play another, I think that's maybe me done until the next FIFA comes out, which I'll almost definitely buy because I'm a mug! |

Put it up in FM update. I was semi tempted to do it with motorsport manager if i could ever find a way to present it and be semi interesting. Though if going retro I would dive with non fm/cm , as older versions to today feel too hollow even though back in dy it was amazing, but I would dabble with USM98 or Premier Manager 98, just for the pure different vibes! or even a game from around 91? called "The Manager" |

I actually seen a guy on twitter start posting about The Manager yesterday.
Unfortunately 03/04 just runs too slowly for me to want to get properly involved with it. I still go back to CM01/02 fairly regularly, but I've played it so much that I fancied something different. Having not played FM in weeks i decided to start a new save with Rangers last night now that the update is out, but I just dont have the FM itch anywhere near as much these days, unfortunately.
