Soviet Union Football League Structure Do you miss communism? Do you wish to seize the means of (football) production? Do you just think that playing as Shakhtar in a 2 team league is a bit boring? Then I have just the thing for you! I'm back for 2019 with the Soviet League Structure: 170 teams, 4 tiers and 8 leagues representing all of the ex soviet states, with another 200 teams in a reserve lower league to allow for promotion and relegation from the bottom tier. 3 Cup competitions, expanded prize money to bring the league in line with other top European competitions and clubs still produce newgens from their parent nation. (Plus two tiers of 3 leagues each below this) Please note, screenshots are taken from the gameworld 5 years in, so teams will be different. We are now ready for release. As per my FM18 release, I have decided to slightly upgrade some of the lesser nations, particularly the 'Stans' (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan etc). It's nothing gamebreaking or immersion breaking, it should just mean that they produce slightly better regens, with the occasional star player coming through, more along the lines of the larger nations and should provide some more interesting depth throughout the game world. Everything should work as intended and all the rules etc should be self explanatory in the game itself. As always, this is quite a big file and I've only been able to get it sorted so quickly because I created it last year and was able to look over the FM18 editor, so whilst everything should be working, there may well be the odd bug here and there. Please let me know if you find anything, that's the only way I'll be able to fix it! Donwload Link: www.sendspace.com/file/0epgj0

Great effort here Dale!!! Is there any chance of including an optional version with a fully working Soviet team? I'd love a Soviet C&C, without human rights, with forced labour, and free of capitalism (except for Rocky IV like training facilities).

It's a nice idea, Chaodck, and something that I'd love to do, but I'm not sure it's feasible without old recreating the Euros and World Cup, as it would remove all of the soviet states.
It's something I want to look in to, but I think it's over and above my abilities

Hi mate, apologies I've been away for a while.
I can't remember the exact names I used, but there's a cup for the top division, a cup which involves all teams from all divisions, and a super cup/charity shield type cup.

I've updated the link in the original post for the download file, so it should be available again.
As for European spots, I'd need to load it up and take a look at some point, which I will do and try to get back to you!

Creating the national team isn't too hard. At least in the past, the way FM creates the international competitions is pretty robust to changes in the numbers of teams. Happy to work on this (and Yugoslavia) for FM21.

Good to see you still around hokster. Welcome (back)! Thanks! Quarantine has made me dive right back into FM, with its usual addictive properties. I may write up something about my current save with Newell's Old Boys. Haven't done any editing yet, but I think that might make more sense to get back into next year.

Do it mate - 100%. I'm currently managing Velez so it'd be good to see how our two games compare.
