How often do you guys, and gals, schedule physical training? I make sure I do one session of each - resistance, endurance and quickness - a week (assuming I'm a full-time club) and my players are starting to moan that they're doing too much, especially strength training. Is once a week too much? Or is it just the players I have?
I tend to approach this much like I would in real life. If I include any physical training during the season, it will either be in a Christmas break, or one session of something less strenuous (ie. not endurance or resistance) during the season.
I guess the workload of playing games, and technical/tactical training is a fine balance, and adding 'graft' to that will unsettle the more snowflake-y of your squad.
