Le Sette Sorelle
So I am new to these forums, I think I did have an account on the older one but not on these new boards. I come here to share my love of Italian Football. I am a kid of the 90s and Football Italia on Channel 4 and James Richardson My aim for this is to win the Champions League with everyone of the Italian Seven Sisters, now these have changed slightly as it has Napoli in now rather than Parma, but I will be using the ones of my youth. - Juventus
- Inter Milan
- AC Milan
- Fiorentina
- Parma
- Lazio
- Roma
I will be trying to win the Champions League, Coppa Italia and Serie A with each of these teams using only Italian players.

So my first club would be arguably the worst team in the Seven Sisters Parma. Parma Calcio 1913, commonly referred to as Parma, is an Italian professional football club based in Parma, Emilia-Romagna. It currently competes in the Serie A, the top flight of Italian football. Founded as Parma Football Club in December 1913, the club plays its home matches in the 27,906-seat Stadio Ennio Tardini, often referred to as simply Il Tardini, from 1923. Financed by Calisto Tanzi, the club won eight trophies between 1992 and 2002, a period in which it achieved its best ever league finish, as runners-up in the 1996–97 season. The club has won three Coppa Italia, one Supercoppa Italiana, two UEFA Cups, one European Super Cup and one UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. Financial troubles were brought about in late 2003 by the Parmalat scandal which caused the parent company to collapse and resulted in the club operating in controlled administration until January 2007. The club was declared bankrupt in 2015 and re-founded in Serie D but secured a record three straight promotions to return to Serie A in 2018.

MID SEASON REPORT 20/21The first thing I did was somewhat of a mistake as I took apart the team by selling as many of the non Italians as I possibly could. Transfers Out - as you can see I was very busy getting rid of most of the non Italians, I think I may have gone a little bit crazy and should have used them at least for a little bit as it left me very light. Transfers In - some players did come. They were a little more expensive than I would have liked. Matteo Gabbia - came in on loan from Milan, a very good defender who will play most of the games. I will hope to sign him but I think Milan think very highly of him. Alberto Cerri - I think this was a nostalgia signing more than anything else, he started his career with us before going to Juventus, we bring in him in from Cagliari, I think he will play some games but will be a squad player. Nicola Sansone - I spent a decent chunk on him but I like him, he can play in the attacking roles I need. He has not started amazingly for us but I think he is a decent signing. Davide Santon - a former Newcastle man, he joined from Roma. A very good player who can play at both left and right back at a push he can even play in the middle of the defence Roberto Insigne - another player who has been here previously, albeit briefly for a loan period. He is maybe the best signing of the lot. I like him and think he will make a real impact on the team from the outset. Fixtures - LeagueWe opened the season with a disappointing loss, I was hoping for a little more out of the first game as it is always nice to win the first game of the season. A draw followed this in a game that we should have really won. We two of the next three games, this was vital as this was against teams that we needed to be beating in order to stay up. I know I should not be thinking about relegation this early on but I did not know where the team stood in the league. We lost against Lazio, they are much better than us I thought we would lose. We went out of the cup in very disappointing fashion, I thought I would be able to rest a few players, I should not have done as we lost. Two losses followed this, not just losses but huge losses. We conceded nine goals in two games and this is not good enough at all. At this stage I changed the defence a little bit as we needed to get a little more solid at the back. It seemed to work as we won the next four games, including big results against Atalanta and Napoli. We finished this part of the year of with two wins and two losses. This puts us in 10th perfectly in midtable. I think this is about right for us, I dont think we will push too much higher than this as we do not have a good enough squad. We have a decent 11 but the squad is just not there for us. This is my fault as I rushed into getting rid of all the non Italians.

END OF SEASON 20/21We did not do any more business in the market in or out really, or at least none that made too much difference. Some of the youngsters who were at the club left the club on loan deals, some of the other foreign players left but not for too much cash, not really enough to write home about. League - Fixtures I could not fit January into the screenshot but I would not rather think or see it to be fair as it was awful. We lost against Inter, Juventus, Sassuolo and Udinese we managed to draw against Bologna, Cagliari and Fiorentina, but it was an awful month where we dropped down the table. At this stage I also felt my job was a little bit at risk but the board did give me a new deal which was a huge relief for me. February was another struggle where did not do too much at all. We still struggled but got four points in three games in March, this was helpful but I think we could have done a little better. I am not sure what changed as it was not my tactics but all of a sudden we seemed to hit a bit of form. April was an excellent month as we got a draw against a very good side before recording four wins on the bounce. This shot us up the table. We now did not need to worry about relegation and had a very outside chance of Europe. We finished the year with a decent May, it was not enough to put us into Europe but did put us into the top half. It was a good end to the year. Riccardo Gagliolo - an excellent player who has been superb for me in the left back spot this year. I think he is certainly a player that is good enough for this level. He also filled in the middle of the defence as well for us. Matteo Gabbia - the loanee was excellent for me this year. He made such a difference for us at the back, I have managed to get him back for another year as well. I would love to sign him full time but I think it is unlikely at this stage. Gaston Brugman - was maybe on of the best players in the League this year. He was certainly our best player. He dominated the middle of the park, 14 assists was fantastic this year, I would like to think he score more than three next year.
I think that we will have to bring in some more players in the summer. I have already agreed a couple to come into the club on free transfers, I will have to look at the budgets but I think that there will be some cash buys to. Next year with a few additions we could possibly make a push into the European places.

MID SEASON REPORT 21/22So another season rolls round and I think this is the last year I will have to deal with the transfers that the previous regime had made. Transfers - these were all good apart from the 12million spent on Cornelius and Valenti, I am now trying to get rid of these two as they do not fit my domestic policy. A lot of players left once again most of them foreign players. Pelle left on a free, he is maybe the only player I could have kept but I was not that overly impressed with him during my time here. The new arrivals are Simone Palombi - comes in from Lazio, decent enough option up top Juan Brunetta - was here last year and has this year signed full time Andrea Conti - another that was here last year who knows joins on a permanent deal Luca Ravenelli - free deal and just another option at the back Nicola Dalmonte - an option at the top of the park for us Marco Brescianni - a loan deal for a useful midfielder Eddie Salcedo - another loan deal and maybe the deal of the summer, I will be trying to bring him in on a permanent deal Youseff Maleh - another loan deal another option in the middle Andrea Cristina - a free transfer for a player with some potential Andrea Rannocchia - picked him up on a free, he is coming to the end of his career but is still good enough Michele Di Gregorio - a keeper with some potential, he will play in the cup this year We were very busy this year and brought in plenty of players of potential and some that can help right away. I have not really spent much money as most of the cash was spent on deals arranged by the old manager. I do have a signing coming in January who should help, but I do think we have a team which is a million miles better than we were. We have a very solid squad now which is something we did not have last year. Cup - We are still in this and will face Lazio in the next round. We dispatched of recently relegated Benevento in fairly routine fashion. We then faced Brescia three days after we beat them 3-2 in the league. The score was to be the same as we went into the next round. We do not seem to play very well against this side. Fixtures - LeagueI dont think could have started in any worse of a way. We went 5-0 down to Inter before we got a goal. I honestly do not know what happened this game as we should not be getting beaten like that. Three wins and two draws followed, I was particularly pleased with the win over Torino as it was great to bounce back after the awful defeat we suffered. A 3-3 draw followed in which we should have been beaten, really we should have not got anything out of it as we were poor. 3 wins followed all with clean sheets which was even better. It included 1-0s against Milan and Roma.
This put us right in the mix at the top of the table, and I was starting to get a little excited. This was soon lost as Juventus took us apart and a poor draw against Bologna. We finished this part off with 3 wins in which we were free and easy going forward but not great at the back. We are now 3rd in the league. I am not sure we are good enough to put up too much of a title fight but I think at this stage if we did not finish in the European spots it would be a real shame for the club as we should be doing so after this start.

END OF SEASON 2021/22Only one more player came into the club and that was Salvatore Esposito I think he will be a very good player. He is an excellent midfield player and one that I am hoping will be here for a long time. We did manage to ship out a lot of the younger players who are not going to make it here. Cups
We did really well to overcome Lazio in what was a very close game. We did not have enough against Juventus as they destroyed us and saw us go out in the quarter final stage. League - Fixtures
I dont want to dwell too much on this because we were absolutely awful in the second half of the season. We got one win throughout January and February this really took us down the table and well out of any conversation for the title or the Champions League. Things did pick up a little bit towards the end of the year as we managed to make a little bit of a come back but it was too little too late. We finish the year in 7th which is not good enough. I was hoping we would be in Europe but I am not sure if we even qualify this year not even for the EC2. I was fuming with the end. Matteo Gabbia - Maybe the best player at the club but he will not be here next year. I can not get another deal done for him so he will be out and will be needed to be replaced. Gaston Brugman - Another great year from one of the better players. I very nearly sold him to a Chinese club in January but I just could not pull the trigger on it. I am glad I did not. Luigi Sepe - Pressure was on him this year as we had another keeper who could have potentially taken his job but he was superb all year.

MID SEASON REPORT 2022/23
Transfers - We managed to ship out a few more players for some decent cash, I dont have too many non Italians left at the club now. A few players who I had signed had also left, these went because they no longer really have a place as we are growing so much and so quickly. Pasquele Schiattarella - joined on a free adds some experience in the middle of the park Riccardo Marchizza - I am amazed I was able to get him, he is good especially for the price I picked him up for Gaetano Letizia - another drop of experience for us this time at the wing back spot Youseff Maleh - was here on loan last year so I am chuffed to keep him here on a permanent deal Danilo Cataldi - joined from Lazio he looks like he could be useful in the middle of the park Paolo Ghiglione - was hoping for a little more from him but he is decent Francesco Vicari - joined on a free purley for help at the back Mattia Viviani - joined from Chievo for a good deal, one who will only get better Andrea Pinamonti - I am excited by this new striker who joins from Inter I think he could be good Fixtures - LeagueWhat an amazing first half of the season. We began with two wins, one which was a fantastic 5-0 win. This is massive in Italy it does not happen often. Two wins and two draws in the next month was excellent. The win over Milan was especially good. We actually two late goals in the draw or it could have been even better. I would have taken this from the outset if I was offered it. We beat a poor side in the league before loosing two games. In the losses we did not really turn up. Two wins followed to get us back on track including a win over a very much overachieving Verona team who are doing it again. We then lost to Empoli who we should really be beating. We battered them but could not break them down. We then won our next game before being taken apart from Lazio. I was fuming in that game as we took the lead but then just could not stop them. We took a break for the World Cup before returning with a win over Torino. This leaves us 2nd in the League which is unbelievable. We are five points off the top but only four points from falling out of Europe so it is very close this year round. I will once again be annoyed if we do not make it to Europe but after last years failings I am not yet counting my chickens. We have to do it this year surely.

END OF SEASON 2022/23
Cups - This year we did not have to play the qualifying rounds and went straight into the first round proper. We made very difficult work of Chievo only managing to beat them in extra time. We then faced Inter we ran them close but did not have enough as we went out in the quarter finals once again. Fixtures - League
After the disappointment of last year I really wanted to try and keep the form up so we could get into Europe this year. We did not start well with two losses against Fiorentina and Inter. We followed this up with three wins against teams that are struggling at the wrong end of the table. We then somehow got smashed by Cagliari 5-1, we beat them 5-0 earlier this year so I cannot explain this one. We finished this month with two draws and a defeat. Next month there was three draws and a win, I was starting to get a little worried at this stage as our form had dropped off. Four straight wins in April was much better as we then got into the qualification places and looked very good. A draw and two wins followed including a massive win over Inter. This put us in the Champions League spots, all we had to do now was to hold our nerve. We did as we drew our next game before winning the last two to get into the Champions League with relative ease really. Roberto Inglese - had his best year with me. I am still not sure he is the answer up top, but he did have a very good year. Luigi Sepe - the keeper is once again an absolute star for us. He is excellent but he is entering his twilight now so he will possibly be replaced soon. Danilio Cataldi - one of my signings from earlier this year. He is great and did everything I asked of him this year. So we will enter the Champions League next year and I think I have work to do. I think a new centre back is needed, as well as help on each wing for us. I am happy with the middle of the park, especially as we have another player joining in the summer who should be good for us. Other than that I think we should be good, unless something massive comes up in the summer in terms of a deal I cannot turn away I do not see too many additions. I think next year if we finish in a similar place I will be happy. I would love to win the Cup as well but we are a little bit away from that really.

MID SEASON REPORT 2023/24I found this off season tough and the main reason was the jobs I was offered. One was Lazio I did not mind turning them down as I dont really like them, I know at some stage I am going have to manage them. The other job was Roma they are my team and they are really finding it tough so to turn them down was a bit of a heart ache, but I have a job still to do here. Transfers - not too many came in the summer as I felt I had a good squad. A couple of players left us ones that I was ok to leave given what was joining us. Andrea Carboni - I think one of the bright young players in Italy joins us, he is a good centre back and for his price I am happy. Mattia Caldara - free deal in from Milan I am amazed they let him go as he is brilliant, I suspect he was not getting enough game time. Matteo Darmian - was a former player of ours, he was out on loan with a permanent deal agreed when I came here, I decided to bring him home as a good squad player Tommaso Pobega - what a player, will become one of the better players at the team and one I think should be able to grow into a star with us Eddie Salcedo - two years on loan and now I decided to pull the trigger and bring him in. More than I would like to spend but he is a great prospect. Europe - for some reason we went straight into the group stages. I am not sure why but I am not complaining at all. We had a fairly reasonable group and one that I thought we had a chance of escaping. In the first game we got a credible draw away to Atletico Madrid. We then went on a run winning every game that was left. I am not sure how really but I am not questioning it. We go into the next stages and I cannot wait. Fixtures - League It has been a bit of a frustrating time in the league and very much a case of what could have been or at least should have been. Three straight wins in the league to start with was an amazing start. We then got beaten by Inter who really are a cut above at the moment, I really struggle against them. A draw and a loss followed, we should not be getting beaten by Udinese. Three wins followed and at this stage we were in a really good spot. We won our next game in convincing fashion which was nice to see. We lost our next three games and conceded 10 in doing so. This is really not good enough at all for a team like ours, we expect much better. A draw and a loss to round the year off did make me a feel a little better. This leaves us 6th, we have a small gap to 7th so that is good, but only 3 points separate form 3rd. We will need to pick up a little bit to get up to those spots. Juventus and certainly Inter are maybe a little far ahead of us. We need to be a little more consistent and start winning against the Milan teams and Juventus as that is what is really hurting us.

END OF SEASON REPORT 2023/24
Tommaso Barbieri - was the only player to join the club in the winter window. No one left the club either. Tommaso will be a real star for us on the right back spot, I think he will become a super player for us. Cup - A win over Cittadella was a good start for the run, but we then met the best team in Italy as we got beat by Inter
Europe - So we had gone through as group winners which was amazing. We then faced Valencia in the next round. A defeat away from was tough, but to only concede one was good enough. We then took them to our place and took them apart in a great victory. PSG came to us in the quarter finals and we got a famous win at home. We could not hold it as we went out as we lost 2-0 away from home. I think its a remarkable achievement to do as well as we did in our first year in the competition. League - FixturesWe kept our good form up with wins over Verona and Napoli. This was followed up with a defeat against a good Atalanta team. Three big wins followed over Sampdoria, Sassuolo and Pisa. We won our next three games over some of the biggest clubs in Italy including Juventus and Inter. This has shot us right up the league at this stage I dont think we can win the title but we are in a good spot for the Champions League again. March was superb as we won every game and looked very much in control in each of them. We seemed to boss them and never looked in danger, my only slight criticism would be that we could have scored more goals. Two wins followed before Lazio became the first team to take points of us in 12 games. We then lost to Milan. Four wins and two draws came to end the year, we finished 2nd in the league in an excellent performance. Andrea Carboni - absolute monster at the back for us. I was hoping he was going to be good when he joined but he was even better than I thought he would be. Luigi Sepe - another great season from the keeper, he must now be approaching the end of his career but he is playing better than ever Andrea Pinamonti - joined last year and did not impress me overly. This year he came into his own, he was tremendous always looking a threat up top for us. Matteo Martinotti - finally a brief shout out for this kid who came though our academy and is our number 1 left back. I think next year I am hoping we can be a little closer to actually winning the title and getting closer to the top. Also I would love to get further in the cup.

Hey calcio, welcome to the forum! Oh, the late 90s serie A, what a time to be a young lad with nothing to do on a Sunday morning than to watch RAI's "La Giostra dei Gol" without understanding a single fucking word of it but seeing the best players in the world play against each other. Will be following this with a lot of nostalgia due to that. Fantastic start with Parma, nice seeing them challenging for silverware already. Here are some 90's inspired kits I made a while ago, if you want to use them in your game.
