Would of you guys be interested in me posting my saves from an older FM? For some reason, don't ask as I don't know, but I had an urge to play some FM14 yesterday and it hit me right in the nostalgia glands. I still play 17 a lot but the layout of 14 and the old feel of it was great. If I start a long term save on it I reckon I could fly through seasons on my newer laptop. If there's any interest I'll happily post progress on here. I will still be playing and posting my FM22 stuff of course

Definitely mate! I find the layouts like you mentioned so much better on the older FM's plus, the newer ones have too many features that don't interest me.

Absolutely. I keep going back to CM01/02 as most of the guys here know (even started a new save this morning) and I keep getting tempted to post screenshots and stuff but never get around to it

Ah sweet lads appreciate the feedback I've started the save on an older FM so will get something up on a thread probably tomorrow when done a bit more and got some screens Also to echo Mikey the newer FM's are swanky and stuff but I don't ever use the data hub, I'm not that big of a stats nerd to pay much attention. Medical center and development bits are cool, but they're just a new coat over the stuff that's been in the game for years. I also can't seem to get into a save on the newer ones, dunno what it is but the best saves I've ever had on and FM / CM have been all pre FM 18. I've put more hours into FM17 alone than I have 18, 19, 20, 21 & 22 combined.

Showing me age a bit haha how easy is it to get the old CM games on newer machines?

There's definitely ways and means of getting some of the older games working, I've played up to CM03/04 although 01/02 is my favourite. You can get it in the form of a 'starter kit' which comes preinstalled, and has about 6 or 7 different databases you can switch between, including the original version, current day and a few other era based scenarios, it's fantastic.

Also I've just remembered a management game from the 90's, can't remember the name but I vividly remember you can take bribes and even deal with sponsors and ticket prices. I'm going to have a look later to see if I can find it

I was awful at it, but you could decide EVERYTHING, even down to the replica kit prices...
