2026Transfers - not many came in as I felt I had a decent squad but I wanted to use some of the youth team as well. A lot of players left on loan and we even got good cash for one player who I was not using. Luo Liansheng - a great left back who joined on a free Zhang Lijun - joined on 1st of Jan from Jeonbuk for 200k. A superb left winger A poor run for us. We should have got past Changchun in the quarter final we are a much better side than this. Oh wat could have been for us. It was certain fairly early on that this was going to be a 4 horse race. We soon managed to get ourselves to the top of the table and for a long time we did stay there. In the last quarter of the season we lost the top spot to Beijing only to regain it with three games to go. A win loss and a draw was not enough to see us to the title and disappointingly we finished 3rd rather than at least 2nd like we deserved. We had to start off in the preliminary rounds. First up we beat April 25 from North Korea and then Western Sydney Wanderers. Three wins and and three draws in the group stage was enough to see us into the next round as leaders. We played a very good Seoul side and in a very close game we just managed to get the win. We then faced two Chinese sides in the quarter and the semi finals and managed to win 2-1. We faced Al Ittihad in the final and this time lost 2-1 gutted. We were the first Chinese team to reach the final since 2015. Michel Silvera - signed a couple of years ago and has not let me down since a superb defender Wei Zhen - another good defender, he has played for China a couple of times this year Chen Yi - a great midfield player who joined a couple of years ago has become very popular with me

2027Transfers - most of my deals were done on the 1st of January before the season reset. I also lost a lot of players to military service this year including my first choice left back. Zu Zhengxing - joined as my new right back and cost nothing an absolute steal Lu Guangchang - another free transfer and became the new 1st choice striker Ren Jia - a new centre back he is very good, he did cost me £2.4 million Yu Kun - another super player he cost me £3million Liu Chuan - I have been wathcing him for years, he left Inter Milan and I snapped him up I am starting to get a little frustrated by this. We really should have won this title. Scoring 92 and only conceding 17 is ridiculous. We got more points than anyone ever before to have not won the title. It is just the consistency of the other teams and our occasional need to drop a point or two. We were favourites pre season and I suspect we will be next year, we have to win a title soon We got to the final with ease, we had not even conceded a goal. In the first leg we just failed to turn up and despite a win in the second it was not enough. We played the Thai team in the opening round and we had a numerous amount of players on International duty and just about got past them. We did only loose one game in the group stage and we lost against the worst team. We did manage to beat a couple of good teams in the group and that put us through. We then smashed the ozzies 8-0 in the next game. We lost to local rivals Beijing I am growing to hate this team a lot. So couple of things. I have ran into a bug where if you have a new stadium you cant ask for a facilities upgrade. It is annoying but not a game breaker. The other thing to note is I have won a First Division and a FA Cup and with squad we have it should be a lot more and a lot better. We have to start getting some silverware. That being said I am loving the challenge of doing it

You might be tempting me to see a save in China again, and pray I dont have the same weird AI side not signing anybody again happen There has not been massive amount of transfers and mainly youngsters from China and not many foreign players but I think that is due to restrictions of only 6 foreign players being allowed Also due to this the price of Chinese players is huge

2028Transfers - a few deals to be done here we add some squad depth. We sold players who would not make it with us for some healthy cash Sun Meng - joins in as a youngster who has a chance at making it here Wu Ziyi - an option in a number of spots a decent pick up Huang Chenguang - a very good player in the middle of the park who has become vital to us Guillermo Garcia - best player we go a fantastic left back We have done it. We really took this league apart, and won the league with relative ease. Once again we scored more than anyone but this time our defence was also fantastic and we conceded only 19. This was enough to give us the title for the first time. Amazing We managed to get a cup win as well winning all but one game. We drew the second leg of the final but we had done the damage in the first leg. Our second cup win whilst I was here. We beat Adelaide United in our preliminary round. This put us into the Group Stage. Two huge wins over the Indonesian team was a good start for us. We beat and drew against the Japanese team and a share of wins with the Koreans was enough to see us into the next round. We then smashed Melbourne City in the next game. Pohang were not good enough to get near us nor were Antlers. In the final we had just enough to beat Al-Ahli to record our first Champions League. What an amazing season for us. Yu Kun - really came out this year and made the spot his own he was excellent for us Michel Silvera - a fantastic centre back. He was excellent this year and has been for a number of years

2029Transfers - a lot of players left including two of our players who have been excellent in the past Bao Yaxiong - just a 3rd choice keeper with experience for us Matei Pirvu - a very good centre back who joined for nothing. A player who may move on in the future for big money Huang Boyang - a super option all across the back for us. Another super season for us as we recorded our second title in nine years. We really bossed the season and didnt really get troubled too much by any other team. Beijing did fight us a little bit but they did not stick around for too long. The campaign in the cup was amazing as we only conceded two goals and scored a ton. We just eased to the win We dropped only two points in the group stage and scored a ridiculous amount of goals. This continued into the next round as well. In the latter stages we did not score as many as we wanted but stayed firm at the back and managed to get another Champions League title. The Club World Cup was fun but we were not in it for long Juventus smashed us but we did get a very solid win over Palmerias. Yu Kun - continues to be great, he just does it every year Liu Chuan - simply put had a ridiculous season from the right wing, maybe our best player Michel Silvera - five and a half years he has been here and been amazing every year

Not to bad then although the players I have had in China had not wanted to change Nationality but dont think they can have a 2nd Nationality in China. I have decided to put my China save on hold. I won 5 CLs on the trot and unbeaten in the league for same time and its just getting a little boring. I have started something else tonight seeing if sticks first

2021/2022 - SozopolI had started this and been playing on off for a little bit now and have only just finished the first season. I have decided to stick something up on here as I believe it maybe sticking a little bit for me. Transfers - I did all business from 1st of July, we had no budget either transfer or wages so we could not do too much. I brought in a couple of faces who would help the first team. A few players left but only on loan, the one that did leave wasnt playing much and was unhappy. We did pretty well from the outset and were right in the promotion push from go. We did not compete with the top two really they were far and away better than us we were more likely in a fight with the two below us. In the end it was our ability to win and not draw games was the main reason for it. We had an amazing little run in the cup. We beat a team that were in the league below us first up in a close game. We then beat team from the League above us, they had struggled this year but a win was good. We then beat a team from our league before going out in the 1/4 finals, it was a close game but we did not have enough to go through.

2022/2023 - Sozopol
Transfers - I tried to bring in some players with a little more experience, I still have no cash so can only deal on free deals. A few players went out on loan mainly kids to get experience. We faced a really tough time in the league and could not seem to get our act together. The goals conceded was the main issue for us. We got smashed against some of the better teams in the league as well. All in all we would have to move onto the relegation group. We performed much better in this group getting some fantastic results having enough to pull away from the relegation zone, we got 17 points in 8 games which is fantastic. We did not do well in the cup this year. We struggled through against a team from the league below. We then faced one of the better teams and got battered to end our cup dreams.

2023/24 - SozopolTransfers - we struggled in the market this year and could not seem to attract anyone. I needed players but could only manage to get a new Right Back in. We played the same team as last year in the opening round and beat them in 90 minutes this time. We pushed Levski all the way but just could not manage to get the win. We were the most mid table of all mid table teams. I dont think we could have been any more mid table if we had tried. In the end that it was a lot more than we did last year, the aim was to stay as fair away as possible from the bottom end and we managed it. We went into the Second League section with the other mid table teams. The only interesting part of this league was the European Playoff Spot, we did not manage to have enough to secure that as we fell off a little bit this time round. I think the teams are much better in this section than we were last year. In the end I was happy with how we finished off the year. Onto next season (I have very nearly caught up to where I am in game, sorry for the loads of updates.), I have lost my new all time leading top scorer along with five other squad players. We just dont really have the money to replace them so I will have to bring up some youth and hope. I am not sure where my goals are going to come from that is the big worry.

2025/26 - SozopolTransfers - I had to bring in some new players into the team as I needed some depth. I managed to bring in a couple of Brazilians as well one has the right hump since he joined and is doing my nut in so he maybe leaving soon. Once again we lost in the first round of the cup, we need to be better in this. We opened our European account against Icelandic opponents who we scored 11 against. We then faced a Cypriot side, it was a very tough couple of games but we just had enough to get through to the next round. We then faced a massive Spanish team and we did well, but we did not have enough to get into the next round. Once again we found ourselves at the right end of the table. What was very pleasing this year was only loosing five games which for us is massive, we had good stretches of the season where we did not loose a game. Just becoming more solid is a step in the right direction conceding less than a goal a game is massive to. We faced a couple of spankings in the Championship group as its clear a couple of teams are so much better than us. Thankfully CSKA Sofia were poor this year. This just allowed us to get into the European Playoff spot which we managed to beat Beroe to play in Europe again.

2026/27 - Sozopol Transfers - Tulio was driving me insane moaning so he was shipped out for a decent profit. A few squad players and youngsters left along with a striker who I was hoping big things from but he never made it. Lukas Skarabela - joined on a free in January and made a great showing across a number of positions. Vlatko Drobarov - a centre back who joined to add some experience and depth at the back Iban - a fantastic striker who was a gem for us this year, it makes a difference having a great striker Ivelin Velikov - big money deal brings to add depth in the middle of the park a very good player A massive blow for us as we go out in Rnd 1 once again. I dont know how or why it has happened. Driving me insane going out in Round 1. We smashed the Northern Irish team keeping a clean sheet in both games. I was gutted to go out to Slovan Bratislava as had we beat them we would have faced Hammerby in the last qualifying round. A real chance missed to get it into the group stage of the competition and to earn some good cash. There was a huge gap in the quality between Ludogorets and the rest of the teams in the league. There was then a further gap between us and Arda and the rest of the squads in the league. It was easily enough for us to be in the Championship group with a good gap between us and not getting a European space. This was a really frustrating time for us as we only got 5 more points. One more win in this period would have put us into the Champions League and really we should have done it as Arda were not pulling away. Its a case of what could have been this year for us. Stefan Garilov - a really good player who joined a couple of years ago, he remains a solid player. Artem Kovalev - again joined a couple of years ago, he has been superb player for us.

2027/28 - SozopolTransfers - a lot of players left one of my better defenders left for his release clause which I was not overly thrilled with. Abdoul Kader Djiedje - joined this year for a lot of money but has been quality now in the top 50 prospects in the world. Mitko Zdravkov - another decent player who joins on a free and got a lot of football Much better in the cup as we managed to the quarter final. We were well beaten there but it was nice to get past the first round for once. I think we were great in Europe this year. We made some fantastic money as well. We just about snuck through the preliminary rounds beating Croatian and Romania sides. We beat Hadjuk twice in good form in the group. We lost twice to Real Sociedad and split wins with Gil Vicente. This was not enough to go through but it was a good showing. The League was another very frustrating one. We for much of the season were in a three horse race for the title. We then imploded, we could just not get a run of wins together and even ended up lost 6 on the bounce in all competitions. We improved albeit not by much and eventually failed to get into the Champions League which I felt that we really should have done. Drazen Meglic - came in last year and was ok, but this year he really came into his own as he won the first choice centre back role. Iban - amazing player, is being chased by the likes of Juventus, Inter and Valencia I am not sure I will keep him much longer.

Fear I might get that at Rad when I finally start hitting 3rd more often! Zvezda and Partizan might be just to strong for me

So, I finally finished the season, it's not that I haven't told you about it, it's just that I haven't played much haha. And what a season it was! For long periods of time we were atop the League. But a little bit after the winter break we lost the top to Inter, and just couldn't catch them. Still we finished 2nd, our best position ever and qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the first time. We also managed to win our first important trophy (well, the Serie B win was absolutely fantastic as well...), as we won the Coppa Italia! And I was super close to make it a double (or a treble if we count the 2nd place in the league), as we managed to get to the UEFA Europa League Final, before losing against PSG on penalties. Saúl was our best player by a ton. He scored at will at times, specially on the Europa League were he was the Top Goalscorer and Silver Ball winner. Nei was fantastic at goal as well, with 20 clean sheets in 54 games and conceding only 47 goals. There area few decisions to make over the summer. Mainly the extension of Nikola Iliev's loan and his probable signing towards the end of the loan (Inter won't allow him to come on loan without a mandatory fee as his contract runs up at the end of next season) and the emergence of Marco Manuzzi, Jaroslav Matějovský, Enzo Tabares, Csaba Somogyi, and Pavel Kalousek all of whom were backups this season and have enough talent to be starters.
